The
Housing Department at Doncaster Council was previously divided into ‘Six Management
Areas’. Each area had at least one association / tenants club affiliated
to the Doncaster Federation. When the ALMO began restructuring changed the format to four 'Quadrants'!
In early 2008, in order to make the services more efficient, the Borough was divided into five (5) housing service areas, each having its own local housing office. To enable you to identify which area you live in, please see the table shown below.
At the moment the federation consists of over 60 active affiliated associations/clubs
and there are around 22,000 council houses in the borough.

TARA - Tenants and Residents Association - membership is open to Council tenants, owner occupiers, housing association tenants and leaseholders on estates formerly managed exclusively by the Council.
TA - Tenants Association - membership is open mainly to Senior Citizens living in Council managed purpose-built developments. Tenants Associations operate in the same fashion as Tenants and Residents Associations
TC - Tenants Club - membership is open mainly to Senior Citizens living in Council managed purpose-built developments. Tenants Clubs focus on social events and operate less formally than TARAs and TAs.
